Canadian actress, Ellen Page, has been cast to play Jane Eyre in a BBC Film adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's classic piece of English lit. The BBC adaptation is being produced by one of the producers of The Other Boleyn Girl. Page received an Oscar nomination for her role as a knocked-up teen in the film Juno which received rave reviews, but I’m not sure how she’d fare in a period piece; it’s so Gwyneth Paltrow.
