There are some things my laptop can probably take care of on it’s own, without getting me involved.

This is definitely one of them. “A problem”? Is there something that I, as a human being, can do to help you with this “problem”? Maybe you need relationship advice? Really, why even have an error message if the contents of the message are so worthless? I think it’d be better and less confusing to not display any kind of message at all in this scenario — either way, you convey the only real meaning here (”you can’t do the thing you just tried to do”), and my way is a lot less annoying.
