It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, Its… Preggoman!

I tried not to write about the former Pregnant Man, Thomas Beatie. On June 29th, Tom gave birth to 9lb. 5 oz. Susan Juliette at Bend (OR) Medical Center. To say this is a very big deal would be understatement. Now, in case you don’t feel like reading the grown-up version of the story, I’ll Readers Digest it for you. Thomas, formerly a beauty-contest contestant and female named “Tracy,” has become the first legal male (albeit transgendered male) to give birth. I’ll save you the joke and presume he had a C-section. He has stated that he’s only 2 pounds over his pre-pregnancy weight and has no stretch marks (I’m sure these admissions will endear him to mothers all over). Oh yeah? well just wait and see what happens to your chest after nursing.
If you live in America, you see pregnant men all over the place. In fact, they all look like they’re going to deliver at the same time!
