Archos started taking pre-orders for its new Windows 7 based Archos 9 tablet on October 22nd. The company was planning to start shipment in November. However, UMPC portal is reporting that the tablet will now ship in early December. The website contacted Archos about Archos 9 availability, and were told that pre-orders made through Archos’ website should be shipping in “early December” and retail store availability is expected in Q1.
