Overview:Misty May Treanor is one of the best American beach volleyball players. She's from Santa Monica, California and graduated from California State University Long Beach. She was Athlete of the Year in 1998, and was All American First Team in beach volleyball. In 2003, Misty May and Kerri Walsh were named "AVP Team of the Year" with a record of 39-0. May had a 5th place finish in the the 2000 Summer Olympics with teammate Holly McPeak and a gold medal in the 2004 olypics with teammate Kerri Walsh. May-Treanor is also a coach at Irvine Valley College. She is married to Matt Treanor of the Florida Marlins.
