How To Add self-Signed Certificate’s To Firefox

Today I had to log into a secure site with a self-signed certificate which FireFox considers a security risk. I received the following error upon login.
The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
How to Access These Pages
You need to add an exception to your certificate list. In order to do so click on the following:
Tools > Options > Advanced > Encryption > View Certificates
Towards the bottom right of the Certificate Manager Pane there is an option to, “Add Exception”.
