Or Not So Good Bye
From:  blogs.lynn.edu
So I just got a phone call from my mom saying that she showed up so late that they refused to check her on the flight… so she missed her flight. Oh boy. This is crazy! So now this is going to be a big problem. A big big problem. This could get complicated. Read Full Story
Saying Bye to Mom
From:  blogs.lynn.edu
I just got back home from dropping my mom off at the airport. Of course we were so late getting there and it became a mad rush. My mom’s bag was at least, AT LEAST 20 pounds over the limit. Haha. I feel bad for the sucker who has to pick it up. So now my mom is on a 14 hour flight to Jordan, and I have a wonderful condo all to myself! My condo! YES! But now I have a ton of new rules and stuff to do. Of course my mom didn’t just leave, she left me with a long list of stuff to do until school... Read Full Story
The Lynn Commercial
From:  blogs.lynn.edu
A few days ago the new Lynn University Commercial launched in movie theaters in our area. If you remember, I had been working on the production of the videos for quite some time. Well, it is such a relief to know that the videos are now in theater and running smoothly. I never thought I would be on the same screen as the premier of Batman! In fact, I never really saw myself on the big screen at all! However, it is due time that I make my way down to Muvico and see myself in theater. There are... Read Full Story
Home in Philly
From:  blogs.lynn.edu
My mother and I drove up on Friday night, Saturday morning, to Philadelphia to see my family before she goes. I had no idea that seeing my family was going to be such a challenge! Not only were there mattresses on I95, a whole bunch of them, there were cones all up and down the road. It was pretty crazy. One moment, there was a mattress in the road and then a minute later there was another one ripped in half. The police were trying to pick them all up and put them on the side of the road... Home Alone…without Macaulay Culkin
From:  blogs.lynn.edu
As Ashlea pointed out to me, I haven’t blogged in a while. That’s because I have nothing to blog about! That comes as a result of my somewhat empty life right now. My days consist of sitting around on my bed, watching movies on my laptop and the occasional meeting with the stove. I thought that was the ideal summer for the college student….I was wrong. Something interesting happened today, however. My sister left for college. Mom is driving her down to Louisiana, and my little brother went... Read Full Story
Mashed Potato Martini Bar
From:  blogs.lynn.edu
Everything has been going really well….last night there was a cocktail reception in the Science and Tech building. It was really neat. The building is only three years old and the lobby has fiber-optic magnetic string lights that hang from the ceiling center to create a chandelier effect. Around the lobby of the room are magnetic panels that if you touch them, they change the color of the fiber-optics. The catered events here are very unique and different. Tonight there was a Mashed Potato... Read Full Story

I’ve just arrived back from a week in Washington D.C. I received an e mail a few weeks back inviting me to attend the Athgo Third Annual Global Forum at the World Bank Headquarters. The Forum, Miracles of Development: Good Governance and Capacity Building partnered with The World Bank and Speaker’s Bureau, including presentations from acclaimed individuals, such as Congresswoman Linda Sanchez, United States House of Representatives; H.E. Urs Ziswiler, Ambassador of Switzerland to the United... Read Full Story
National Ironworkers
From:  blogs.lynn.edu
The largest conference of the summer is in-house. A huge checkin on Saturday of 384 followed by more on Sunday. As we checked in guests one after another the line continued to flow. National Ironworkers had their own check in and then they would flow into our room for housing. They were being housed all over campus including Maher, Alcala Vista Apartments, San Buenaventura, and even Manchester. I have been in charge of CWI, Certified Welding Instructors, since their arrival. National... Read Full Story
Missing Lynn
From:  blogs.lynn.edu
I’m almost a little homesick for Lynn.  I miss the campus and I’m  so excited about next year, I can’t wait for summer vacation to end! Shocking, this is a first. Normally I only want summer vacation to go on forever. Now I’m off to study and clean up the living room. Read Full Story
