Detour Ahead - Southbound Memory Lane take Exit 66 Highway to Hell. How many times must mankind bruise his Achilles heel, on that slippery slope, where the tides of time churn in perpetual turbulence, against the shores of tomorrow, before he slows down his race to get there? At what point will he cast away his whimsical machines, equipped with: nine ply, steel belted, hard driving, 42 trillion gigabyte, flat screen super chargers, that quicken his departure from yesterday, spitting mud pies a... Sure atheism has its obvious benefits, like: no tithing, no Sunday go to meetin clothes, and no need to misquote scriptures, but the idea of going to hell really sounds crappy. Also, I must admit Heaven, with those pearly gates, virgin angels, and cushy cloud mattresses, has a certain appeal.I can understand why God wants to smite me, after all belief in his royal imaginary self is fundamental to his loyal servitude. But hey, is it really necessary to send me to a fiery eternal demise, when i... Read Full Story

Philosophy of Truth
We once believed this world to be flat, the majority would agree today, that it's not. I believe truth, in its purest form, arrives at moments in time when facts are presented in such a manner, that even the most critical of adversaries are compelled to draw forth pen and parchment, and draft articles of agreement. Our Forefathers believed they were in this "moment", when they drafted the infamous preamble: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that... Read Full Story

and four people died...
There are those rare times when you actually get to hear it all. Mind you, it's not because you weren't listening before. Nah, it's just because you weren't told the "whole" story. Well, today I was lucky enough to hear it all. Now I thought I had heard just about everything, but then again “everything” does not necessarily imply "all".
So I’m waiting for this call, that I assume is going to go: ” Oh yeah, we put that check in the m... Read Full Story

Silent fight
I don't like when you call me names, but please do... afterall what else are you going to do with that trifle vocabulary, you so love to haunt. I forgave you long before you gleamed, I seen it in the way you plotted your eyes and crossed your knees. Who knew alphabet soup could be so revealing?
Why would I care, I've taught lots of enemies, remind them to stay high on your trek through broken pedestals. You see, anger comes and danger grows, and this too shall last. I'll cher... Read Full Story

A story appearing in the Bowling Greeen, Sentinel-Tribune (March 27, 2007) titled: NATO Base Segregates Restrooms, ( JOE FRIESEN-Toronto Globe and Mail), clearly shows how political correctness and people's concept of racism, gets into trouble. In the story it states that the NATO base in Kandahar Afghanistan, has restrooms marked: For Local Nationals Only. Reminiscent of those days when this country had public places marked: For Whites Only, some people are offended. ... Read Full Story

My Jewish quagmuah It was 1990 and my knowlege of Jews was limited to large noses, gold teeth, and outrageous price tags. I was olivious to the fact that Leviticus 25:44, gave the Jews undenial right to keep me as their slave, both financially and otherwise. I'd read of what slavery did to the black men of America, and any notion of being recruited by the NBA, was quickly dismissed for lack of a "nappy head" among other things.Hilter's 1941 "Radication of Jews"... Learning to play the congas... Learning to play the congas. "Stopping to smell the roses", dwarfed by the massive hands of a craggy lumberjack from Pennsylvania, who I suddenly realized towered over me like a California Red Oak on steroids, settled any future courtship I may have entertained of - literal poetic translation and psycho-tropically induced knee-jerk reactions.Looking up at the angry lumberjack, his enormous hands clinching the fragile bouquet my face was bur...
