‘maxdavinci aage badho, hum tumhare saath hain‘ The deafening ruckus of the slogan chanting slowly dies out as I get my fingers to type. The past few days have been pretty busy with all these followers, and the sea of banners with my name emblazoned on them. At first I assumed they were mischief-mongers irked by my scathing review in the previous post. Turns out they are all my supporters showing their support and endorsing my candidature for the indiblog awards. I actually prefer... Read Full Story
Review: Kurbaan – Jihad Ho Na Ho
From:  maxdavinci.com
(Looooong post, kindly adjust) We generally try not to give away the plot and thrust our opinions on people and be unbiased, but then there are exceptions. The weird thing being that, the stuff that I find trashy is sometimes received so well by others that it just boggles me. But then who cares, for after all the internet is one large trashcan of opinions. So here we are adding kilobytes of our worthless bauble to the information superhighway and present our view which may seem rehashed, fo... Read Full Story

I know what you’re thinking, and your bewilderment is well justified. We don’t quite often talk about so-called serious issues like climate changes but then we’ve done some mildly serious stuff in the past like this and this, they’ve been well received. Now this goes without denying the fact that it will get us some traffic, but people looking for serious stuff will return disappointed. Unless of course someone is looking for how the climatic change will affect the re... Read Full Story

Review: Wake up Sid – A Boy, not a Man
From:  maxdavinci.com
The weekends are getting better with better stuff to look forward to at the cinemas on Friday evenings. While not the best to hit the screens this year, Wake up Sid still makes the cut especially taking into account the production house it belongs to. Dharma Productions brings us another hip and trendy enjoyable fare that is devoid any family melodrama, palatial mansions, sherwanis and the great flapping albatross a.k.a SRK! A lot has been already said bout the South Bombay lifestyle with sl... Read Full Story
