PugSpeak’s February Pug of the Month
Meet Lucie of Lausanne, Switzerland
We first fell in love with the breed and decided to have our first pug after we met “Petit Louis,” an adorable fawn boy who lived with an English couple in the Poitou region of France.
We met contacts everywhere in England as we wanted a pug with the English Type. We found out it wasn’t easy and that patience was the key word to be part of the pug family as they were very few good litters and the new owners chosen very carefully!
Our patience was rewarded when we had the chance to have our little “Lucie”: Donymoor Lucky in Love from Johna and Norma Knox in Spain and former famous boxer breeders. So we took the plane from Paris to Alicante and found our tiny little Lucie waiting for us and took her back in France. Lucie is now part of our life in Switzerland were we give her all our love. She is a typical English type pug - very short from Marbelton, Poosbury and Hatella Bloodlines.
We show her quite a lot throughout Europe and she really seems to enjoy it! Her next show is in Milan.We really can’t say enough how much this is a wonderful, beautiful and loving breed!
