Piracy Solution

Somali pirates have taken more hostages.  They have been doing this more and more over the last few months, but no one here in the media really cared until now.  This time White Americans Citizens (WAC's) are involved, so now the news coverage here is 24/7.

The pirates take the boats and hold the crew hostage until they are paid.  This has worked many times in the past, and ransoms for millions of dollars have been paid.  I am sure that paying a ransom will ensure that there will be no further kidnappings in the future.  Right.

So, how do we fix this 'problem'?  Simple.   The Great Orator (Trademark pending) goes on TV and says," The boats will be boarded by the Navy and anyone carrying a weapon will be shot.  Period.  No negotiation.  No ransom."

The prates work on the premise that they will eventually get some money for their efforts.  If it was made known that ALL pirates will be killed or captured, you only have to do that once or twice and the problem goes away.  That's it.  Shoot the bastards.  A simple solution to a complex problem.  I have a million of these.  Maybe I should make that a business motto.
