If your computer wont print the first place to start is the printer itself. Make sure the power is on to the printer and that it is plugged in to the power socket. Check that the parrallel or USB printer cable is plugged in to the computer. If the parallel printer cable goes through a switchbox make sure it is switched to use the correct printer. Next check that it doesn't need paper or any consumables replaced on it. Also check it doesn't have a paper jam.
