On Abbey Road, about to pass that crossing. The ceremony of Sarah & Dan's wedding took place at St Margarets Church in Edgware. From there I got to ride with the bride and groom over to the Landmark Hotel where the festivities continued, while Susanna travelled with the guests on an old routemaster bus, which seems to be a big trend for this summer's weddings. This particular bus came with an actual conductor and some knees-up music to keep people in good spirits. I on the other hand got ... Read Full Story
I must say, I'd been looking forward to this reception at the stunning Landmark Hotel for a long time. You couldn't really find a much more stunning venue for a wedding if you tried, and I felt very privileged to work there. Once again, this was a very international wedding, with guests from as far as Egypt and the US. Everyone was up for having a really good time, and the DJ (who was celebrating his birthday by the way) did a great job at getting people on the dance floor, which made for so... Read Full Story
Sarah & Dan got married at St Margarets Church in Edgware, north London, and their reception took place at the fabulous Landmark Hotel. In the morning I tagged along as Sarah and her little bridesmaids got ready at Sarah's parents' house, while Susanna went to take some (pretty awesome) portraits of the boys at the nearby Edgware football club.I shall show you more of this gorgeous wedding as I get further along in my editing. Phew, this time of year is certainly not called the silly sea... Read Full Story
I'm very sorry if I've just killed you with cuteness. You can now sympathise with how I felt editing these pictures, it was pretty much impossible not to go awwwww every few seconds. :D You will probably remember how I took some maternity portraits of Sarah & Steve at the start of July. Well, Lucinda Rose Hooton arrived fashionably late on the evening of Wednesday 22nd of July, and she did her first professional photo shoot when just 8 days old. And I have to tell you that she was one of... Read Full Story
The reception of Eleni & David's wedding was held at Tamesis Sailing Club in Teddington, which was the perfect location for a beautiful summer's day, and Eleni & David's grand arrival on a boat across the Thames really set the mood for the rest of the party. There was a great relaxed atmosphere to this wedding, and all I have to say is that if you have to spend your birthday working, you couldn't choose a nicer event for it. Oh and I totally have to name check David's aunt Toshi, who... Read Full Story
Eleni & David chose pretty much the most awesome day ever to get married, what with their wedding day also being my birthday. In light of this I believe I can take full credit for the weather on the day being simply divine. :D The ceremony was held in St Mark's Church in Teddington, and afterwards we popped into Eleni's parents' garden for some portraits. And what a garden it was! It really made for an absolutely magical backgrop for Eleni's beautiful dress, which, by the way, was made b... Read Full Story
I'm not very far into editing Eleni & David's wedding from last weekend, but just had to share this image. Usually church layouts, and photography restrictions, make it hard to get into a good angle for the first kiss, but St Marks in Teddington was perfect for this! Love this picture. What were the chances that I'd get two weddings at the The Garden Museum in the same summer, both with a bride called Claire. Pretty good it seems! :D Claire and Ben are getting married next month, and last week we went for a little stroll along the South Bank for a few 'warm up' pictures. People often ask me what the point of an engagement shoot is. For me, it's a great way to get to know the couple, and to get them to relax in front of my camera so they can truly trust me on their wedding ... Read Full Story
Here's a little taster from Claire & Ben's engagement session on the South Bank in central London. The weather was insane, constantly going from bright sunshine to rain and back, but we didn't let that slow us down! Poof. Another year has yet again disappeared somewhere, as I turned 33 (yikes) on Saturday. Most of the day was spent shooting a wedding (and a lovely wedding it was too), but when I got back home in the evening S had prepared a delicious birthday feast for me, which was pretty awesome. My presents this year have been pretty incredible as well, I can't remember when I've gotten such uber birthday pressies before, if ever. Jumping the gun a bit, earlier in the month I bought a 45mm tilt & ... Read Full Story
