Official: Haldex announces AWD system for new Land Rover model. Possibly the LRX. Officially scheduled for 2011 production!
Today Haldex, the AWD systems specialists who also provide systems for the Freelander 2 (LR2), announced that they will supply the AWD system for a new Land Rover model scheduled for production in 2011. We can only speculate that this system is intended for the production LRX. Land Rover North America reaches 500,000 sales milestone
Land Rover North America announced this weekend during its annual Retailer Breakfast Meeting at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) convention in New Orleans, that the company reached a historic milestone recently when a Range Rover Sport Supercharged became the company’s 500,000th vehicle sold in the United States. The Range Rover Sport was sold by Land Rover Cerritos, a retailer in Southern California. Read Full Story
Latest news on British Government auto aid package!
It was just announced that the British Government has granted a £2.3 billion ( around $3.2 billion US ) rescue package to British car makers. A large amount of this total is expected to go to Jaguar and Land Rover as a loan to keep research and development going for the next few years as a result of the current economic climate. UK: Autocar snaps 2010 Range Rover just a few months before its official debut!
Spy Phots: Autocar - Facelifted Range Rover Autocar Magazine has spotted the 2010 Range Rover just a few months before its world debut. According to Autocar, the 2010 Range Rover will go on sale in April, soon after its world debut at the New York International Autoshow, with the addition of a new 5.0-liter supercharged petrol V8, which is expected to produce nearly 500bhp. USA: San Jose Muddy Buddy competitor wins certified pre-owned Land Rover LR3
Land Rover North America recently announced the winner of a 2008 Certified Pre-Owned LR3 from the Muddy Buddy Ride and Run Series, a competition of partner races held throughout the country. The lucky winner was notified last month during a radio interview about the San Jose event. Read Full Story

Land Rover specialist, Dakar Cars, has won the prestigious 2009 Garage of the Year title in the Car and Accessory Trader (CAT) Magazine Awards. UK: JE Engineering officially launches 460hp "JE ZULU" SuperDefender!
JE Engineering has officially launched their new ZULU Supercharged Defender, which is powered by a JE tuned Supercharged Jaguar/LandRover petrol V8! The engine has been tuned to deliver 460hp and up-rated AP Racing ceramic discs are also included as well as a new manual or automatic transmission.
