It occurred to me recently that with the passing of time I am less and less fond of drinking a lot (in a short period of time). I can recall when I was younger the sensation of being very drunk was pretty nice; it was a sufficiently altered reality that gave me memorable experiences I quickly forgot. In the past few years the thought of and the act of having that quantity of alcohol makes me feel a little ill. Perhaps it is because I have worked so hard on getting myself very healthy and fit....
