Times are a changing...

It's back to school time and like clockwork the sun is setting earlier and the weather is getting cooler. It really makes a change feel like a change. As much as I love fall weather, apple picking and Halloween, I feel like this summer just went too fast. I could use one more week to take a few more day trips. I could use one more day to soak in the sun.

I guess it really isn't a sign all warm weather is officially over. We will probably get a few more days where the heat sets in and teeters on the edge of a bizarre heat wave. Still, I feel a little melancholy when back to school time comes...maybe because it preempts the winter, which I am not a fan of. I decided though this fall to work in a project I have been holding off on for a long time. I really want to further my education and have wanted to for years. I think this time I really need to go for it. Needless to say, that means this old blog is going to pack it up. I realize that if you add something to your schedule, you need to take away somewhere and I don't want to take away from my family. So get ready to stick a fork in me. It's been a fun ride, having a blog and meeting all sorts of bloggity friends. I feel like I have come and done what I wanted to do, try it out, play awhile and then know when to say when.
