Getting the Bills Paid Down!

There is nothing more exciting to a person in debt than the freedom of getting the bills paid down.  For us, the debt paydown is slow going, but it is getting paid.  Personally, I’ve been pretty good about not using my credit cards and opting to pay cash instead.  My husband has always been good about not abusing credit cards, so while we are feeling the effects of this economy (higher gasoline expenses, higher grocery bills, etc.), we are feeling pretty positive about our financial situation.   But I suppose that is easy to say when we our Federal income tax return was just deposited in our checking account!  We’re not sure if this refund will be kept in savings (for emergency use only), or if we will just use it to pay down another credit card.  My vote is to split it in half for both purposes.

One of the things I’ve been using, as I mentioned previously, is the BANS script (Build A Niche Store).  I currently have 6 active BANS websites, but I plan to have many many more by the summer.  In fact, I have about 15 more domain names that I can use, and I always have new ideas for website stores.  The money from these stores has been trickling in - along with royalties earned from Squidoo.  But I am learning better ways to market my sites, and hopefully the trickle will be followed by a steady stream of passive income.
