How often do you say I love you?

I try to say it a lot but it can somehow get lost in all the stuff that we do during the day. I did not hear it very much when I was little. I can remember maybe once or twice that those words were spoken to me. I always try to make sure my kids know how much I love them. I give them hugs constantly. I tell them I love you when they leave for school and again before they go to bed at night. Sometimes I am considered a “mean mommy” because of all the rules I have. But in my eyes their is no way to mistake my love for them.

I sometimes wonder if those 3 words were spoken to me more from the people I looked up to would I be different? Hmmm, just a thought
