Davydenko shocks Federer to reach ATP final

ADELAIDE, Australia, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- After a 12-hour flight from China, giant pandas Wang Wang and Funi settled in Saturday at their new $8 million home at the Adelaide Zoo in Australia. Herschel studying massive dying star
CARDIFF, Wales, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Europe's new Herschel telescope is examining a dying star that is 30 to 40 times more massive than Earth's sun, astronomers said. The end days of VY Canis Major, the largest star known to science, is undergoing spectroscopic analysis by Herschel, which was launched in May. Sunken fighter plane to be restored
WAUKEGAN, Ill., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Salvage crews are preparing to lift to shore a World War II F6F-3 Hellcat that crashed into Lake Michigan nearly 65 years ago, authorities said. 3 Americans killed in China plane crash
SHANGHAI, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Three Americans were killed and one hurt when their cargo plane burned and crashed at Shanghai's Pudong Airport, Chinese state media reported Saturday. The government-run Chinese news agency Xinhua said that the Zimbabwe-registered plane caught fire, left the runway and then crashed into a storage building, creating a fiery maelstrom.
