No Theme Parks Here

It is very interesting meeting my retreat guests, all of whom are first time visitors to Parrot Cay and Turks and Caicos. Since the resort one hears about most often is the family friendly waterpark filled Beaches on Providenciales (which generally attracts the guests who also enjoy orlando vacations), people don't always know what to expect on our little island.

Well, Parrot Cay is all about relaxation. We are certainly family-friendly, and have plenty of kids and pets who visit us every year, but the kids' activities are really limited to crafts, movies, games, fishing, tennis, swimming, and excursions. The beach is the kid zone, as the pool and spa areas are designated quiet areas. There is no shopping other than the hand-picked selections in our spa and hotel boutiques, and no nightclubs. This is where you go to really get away from it all and be pampered.
