Belly fat is the most dangerous kind of fat on the human body, it is proven. Isn't it strange, but everybody knows people who are overweight just in their stomach region although they seem to be fit in every other part on their body. It looks like we are all overweight someplace and in some way. But as we all need to take care of our weight and need to live a healthy lifestyle, those who carry this extra belly fat need to take care even more.
Just remember, your belly is the part of your body that holds most of your important organs. And while having some extra weight in legs or hips doesn't touch the function of any of those major organs, carrying belly fat does and can handicap the work of some of your body's most important parts. Thus we want to do everything we can, to protect and support them and not to hinder their work.
