OK another random website I came across (and another random post). It is called Lockerz and you get points for just signing in and answering “Dailies” (Daily questions). If you invite 20 people you can earn more points. This site is an invite only type site.
It appears to have different prizes ranging from game consoles (PS3, XBOX 360), gift cards, and fashion accessories.
Upon joining you get to play a ... Read Full Story

There are some sites out there that I’ve been using, some good and some not so good. I usually stick with reviewing and news on movies but this is still a blog site, so I’m going to share other random information with you at times.
I’ve found some of these sites really help to get you some gift cards and money to (at least) help me pay for my love of movies. That is usually in the ... Read Full Story

Demand the movie Paranormal Activity be released in a city near you!
The trailer for this movie looks great and I’m very excited to see this. Unfortunately, it has only opened in a select few cities in the USA. Follow the link (CLICK HERE), watch the trailer, and DEMAND that it get released.

Sony released two great Jim Henson movies on Blu-Ray. Both Pan’s Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal were released on Blu-Ray yesterday 9/29/09.
These are both great family movies that are rich in creativity. I recommend both of these movies and I can’t wait to see the result of how they look in 1080p.
They are going for $18.99 @ Amazon, which is not a bad price for these movies.

GoHastings.com has a deal going on where their used blu-ray selection is 30% off. There is a lot of potential for deals here. Some prices range from $6.50 and up for used Blu-Rays.
I have personally purchased online and in-store from Hastings and they usually give you quality products. They can’t guarantee that all the digital copies, inserts, etc. will be included but it seems like about 80% of the used b... Read Full Story

Director: Michael Bay
Cast: Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson
One of the most anticipated movie of the year 2009 is the sequel to Michael Bay’s adaption of the 80’s cartoon Transformers. The first movie had many flaws but sported some great special effects and a likable lead character. My main complaint about the first movie is that there was way too many human characters, therefore taking ... Read Full Story

I’m a big fan of the first two X-Men films. The Last Stand, third installment in the original trilogy, had some good action and a majority of the cast back, but it lacked what the first two movies had. I’ve said it and I’ll say it again, movies just try to hard and incorporate too much action/special effects, but forget about the human aspect of movies.
Unfortunately, Wolverine is a similar type of mov... Read Full Story
