Halloween is not too far away and it’s definitely one of my favorite holidays. I remember the days of walking the neighborhood and get sugar highs from all the great candy you would get. After being done with Trick-R-Treating, I remember staying up late watching horror movies.
Speaking of horror movies there is a new trailer out for a movie called SPLINTER. It appears to be an 80’s type monster movie. The trailer looks pretty good but the bad news is it’s being released on Halloween but... Read Full Story
Sad news has been announced that actor Paul Newman passes away at the age of 83 years old. He has been battling cancer and passed away yesterday (Friday). A truly great actor with so many accomplishments will be greatly missed. We will always remember him and his amazing roles in movies such as The Sting, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, Cool Hand Luke, and so many more. Thanks for all the performances and memories, my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Perfection is the only word that comes to mind when thinking about this epic movie. Everything from the special effects to the brilliant editing. Many movies now days you walk away from wishing certain parts would have been executed better, but The Dark Knight is not one of those movies.
This sequel to Batman Begins (another excellent film) picks up with the... Read Full Story

Here is another addition to the great year we’ve had for comic book movies (such as Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and coming soon, The Dark Knight).
Here comes a different type of super hero movie, definitely not your average comic book hero. The films based on the Dark Horse comic have been brought to life by one of the more talented directors of our time, Guillermo del Toro. A little back story for those that... Read Full Story
I am a huge fan of the re-invention of the Batman series by Christopher Nolan! Batman Begins just came out on Blu-Ray and you can get it at Amazon for only $17.95 (and if you have Amazon Prime it’s free shipping). That is a wonderful deal for a brand new blu-ray release. From the sounds of it the picture and audio quality are top notch. Read Full Story

I can’t say enough how much I love what Hollywood has done with (most) superhero franchises lately. Yes there have been disappointing sequels but for the most part they have been above average and have not just brought us action but more drama, comedy, etc. With all that being said I have to say that Iron Man has become one of my favorite comic book/superhero movies of all time.
The plot... Read Full Story
Blu-Ray finds it’s way home….well that is my home. I finally invested in a Blu-Ray Player and a TV that does 1080p. After Warner Bros. moved only to Blu-Ray and HD-DVD was left in the dust I though I better get up with the times. Read Full Story

This film has been advertised for what seems to be the longest period of time ever. I feel like I’ve watched trailers for this for over a full year, maybe not. Anyways the All Star casted film opened tonight. At a glance it has everything you would want in a movie - great cast, interesting idea, car chases, etc. After viewing the film I was disappointed.
The idea and concept of having several views of an... Read Full Story
