Intrigued with Frozen Hot Chocolate

By the looks of this, I’m drooling! I have dreamt of visiting this cafe in New York called Serendipity 3 even since the movie was shown (which I enjoy watching again and again…as I bashfully say it’s my favorite movie ever!)

Recently, I saw this being featured in one of the segment in Travel and Living channel and was really intrigue by how it tastes. They say it’s hot and cold which is delicious as it is made up of different chocolates! Yum!

I was looking into it and I stumbled upon a blog called Thrifty Mom where she tells us that’s there a 50% off from online purchase from the makers of this Frozen Hot Chocolate by using “OPRAH” as a code when you check out!

She also shared a recipe for a DIY treat!

* 6 pieces (1/2-ounce) chocolate
* 2 Tsp hot chocolate mix
* 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
* 1 1/2 cups milk
* 3 cups ice
* Whipped cream
* Chocolate shavings

Simmer chocolate pieces over a double boiler, till smooth then add hot chocolate mix and sugar. Once complete melted and mixed remove from heat slowly add 1/2 cup milk and cool to room temperature.

Then in blender add the rest of milk, room temp chocolate mix and ice. Blend till smooth, pore into glass and top with whip cream, add sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.
