For the holiday season, my friends and I decided to take a short trip to the small island of Sumilon. The entire island, we learned from the Internet and mouth of moounth, is owned by the same folks who own the Blue Water Resort in Lapu-Lapu. My badminton group planned to have our Christmas Party on a yacht, on which we could cruise Subic Bay. My good friend Mike organized the group with the other good friend of mine Art. I’m living in Manila these days. I just returned home to Cebu to visit my friends and also the beach. Soon after returning, my friends and I, as is our custom, made a trip to an Island Pandanon Island. This island is located between Bohol and Cebu. You can almost see the Bohol Island from Pandanon. The University of California at Berkeley recently received a $1.5 million grant that will allow the university to develop open-source software that would let colleges around the world easily post lectures from their most popular professors.
