Who Needs Public Funds?

Well, fellow Americans, you’re $3 is going to John McCain.

That must cause a fair amount of unhappiness amongst the liberally deranged Bush/Republican haters who checked the little box on their tax return giving three bucks to the Presidential Campaign, knowing, as they did then, that their guy was going to be noble and take public funds. But like so many other things, he’s made a switheroo.

He, too, alas, has feet of clay.

What I am saying is that if my three bucks were going to elect Obama I would be hysterical right now. Well, for far left libs out there, it must hurt that your guy has decided to go his own way and raise his own money. After all he was going to be above the fray. Not a part of the money machine. Not like Bush, or Cheney or any of those other picayunish pigs in Washington. A breathe of fresh air. Change you could count on. Now all you’re doing is counting dollars.

Obama’s campaign manager David Plouffe has sent out an e-mail telling supporters that because of their generosity the campaign is in great financial shape. He continues to say: “In the month of June, supporters like you helped raise $52 million.” No wonder the flip-flop on Public Funds.

What mentally deficient candidate would take the pittance that the Feds hand out when he has cool aide drinkers handing over fists full of dollar on the internet? That’s it! I have made up my mind. I am running for Pres in 2012. After all you don’t have to have any real ideas. You have to know how to be emphatic in a kind of oratorical manner, repeat catchy phrases ad nauseam, read a teleprompter, change your mind every week on several topics, preach a lot of pie-in-the-sky stuff that you cannot possibly deliver, try not to speak off-the-cuff, and you have to be young and look cute.

Well umm, I think I am challenged in the cute department (look left - judge for yourself), definitely challenged in the youth department, but I can certainly do the rest, and I have four plus years to practice.
