I'm sitting here watching the Patriots play the Chargers and have just come to this conclusion; Matt Cassel is horrible!! Four plays from 6 inches from the goal line and he can't find a way to get the ball in the end zone. As I am writing this Rivers has just gone long again. As a Red Sox fan I have been watching the games since Manny's departure and finding that I don't really miss him at all. Jason Bay has done an incredible job of stepping into Manny's spot and making the team stronger. What a sight it was to see Coco Crisp rush the mound and take it to James Shields! If you've read anything about last Saturday nights game at the LA Coliseum between the Red Sox and the Dodgers then you probably already know the following facts. They played for a crowd of approximately 115,300 fans which is a new world record. As a footnote I'd like to point out that the previous attendance record for the Coliseum was 93,103 for a game between the Yankees and Dodgers.
