I helped my best friend move house yesterday; however because I am currently nursing a crippled knee and sprained wrist (and before you ask, that was not a date that went horribly wrong) I ended up just looking after their son Zach. So, I took that opportunity to take a few photos.

Over the summer I’ve shot well over 30 bands in various venues. Over that time I felt the need to invest in new equipment, in this case a very specific lens. Charismatic and very photogenic are obvious traits of Ms Parsons. What was also interesting was the amount of male attention she got. I swear a saw a lot of men just stop talking she was walking near them. Unfortunately I never got the chance to say hello other than to ask her to look my way during shoots.

I photographed an intimate gig last night in Hounslow (London). The drummer Phil Page is promoting a book he has just published. I will be posting those images later, but I just HAD to show you this amazing drum kit he used. I lost count of how many toms, crashes, rides and snares he has.
