Arr-ival Party, New Pin And Free Item!
Hey Penguins! Rockhopper's and Yarr's Arr-ival party has started! It's similar to the Pirate Party last year, but with some new stuff! Most of the main rooms are decorated, and they look great! There's also barrels of creaming soda everywhere too... Anyway, there is a Free Item! The Sailor Hats are back at the Plaza. I'm a little annoyed now that Club Penguin has brought back two rare items without changing them. I think it's ok to bring them back, but only if they are changed to not look like the rare ones. (eg. Red Propellor Cap). Oh well!
There is also a new pin, and you can find it at the Ski Village! Go to the area with the big red X, and roll your mouse over it. The shovel will then start digging...
... and the Treasure Chest will appear! I remember when the Pirate Party had the ruby pin hidden in exactly the same place, except you had to dig it out of, ironically, a Treasure Chest! Maybe next year we'll have to dig a Treasure Chest out of a Ruby, who knows!
There is also new writing in Rockhoppers Journal. Remember, it's now in the Book Room, just upstairs from the Coffee Shop! His latest writing tells about how he celebrated Christmas with Yarr, and also how he's a little worried about the Iceberg that was adrift in the sea. That's where it ends! Hehe.
Also released today was a new Sport Catalogue, with some new Baseball gear. There are no new cheats in this one, nor backgrounds. Anyway check it out!
An issue raised on CPG was how we would be able to access the Captains Quarters on Monday when the key is hidden, but the party only goes for the weekend and that's probably when RH is leaving. What I think they might do is extend the party, because they usually do for just weekend-long ones. What do you think?
