It appears that Twilight fans are just as hungry as ever for more of their favorite vampires and werewolves.
Despite being almost universally panned by critics, New Moon's midnight showings yesterday shattered box office records, bringing in $26.3 million. The previous record-holder was this summer's Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which took in $22.2 million from its midnight viewing.
That kind of haul has got to be enough to make even Kristen Stewart smile.

Looks like Sony is trying to pack the fourth installment of the Spider-Man franchise with as much star power as possible.
The studio is apparently considering Anne Hathaway for the role of Black Cat in Spider-Man 4. These rumors come just one week after word that Rachel McAdams is up for the same part.
Whoever gets the part, there's definite potential for a spin-off series based on the role. May the best actress win!

One of Miley's four tour buses crashed outside of Richmond, VA yesterday on the way to the singer's show in North Carolina on Sunday. The driver of the bus, William G. Douglas, 53, of Austin, Texas, died at the scene. Miley herself was not traveling with the group, as she had hopped a plane to Nashville for some downtime before the concert. Read Full Story

We all knew it was coming: Meana Irina won the sixth season of Project Runway last night. We're not saying she's not deserving. Her collection was cohesive and well-made and she has been the most consistently good designer this season. She just doesn't seem very nice.

Oprah is announcing today that her twenty-fifth season will be her last. That's right. Oprah will no longer be coming into our houses every afternoon. What will we do?

Winnie campaigned for her husband's release for twenty-seven years, but they separated in 1992.
This news comes right as Clint Eastwood's new Nelson Mandela biopic, Invictus, is about to come out starring Morgan Freeman.
