Reading with Rollins

Belfast based writer and Theologian Pete Rollins is offering to run reading groups on some of the key figures who are contributing to deep dialogue on issues of Christian theology, beginning with the Solvenian Marxist philosopher/social theorist Slavoj Žižek, (author of ‘The Monstrosity of Christ’) and going on to cover various other fascinating characters.

These reading groups will be brilliant I am sure, Žižek’s arguments present a very real stimulus to those of us willing to question the assumptions we have inherited. And the others he mentions, including Bonhoeffer, have proven over time to be very important in the development of Christian theology which has less to do with Religion, and everything to to do with God.
