Worth a chuckle

My sister in laws teenage son was allowed to ask me things about my ’spooky stuff’ his first question a common one was can you call up spirit to which my response as usual was yes all dead people are issued blackberries on arrival at the pearly gates and they just sit around waiting for a psychic to call.

He then wanted to know who was around us and I was honest there was a spirit with an Edna name an elderly woman. Anyway he was satisfied with my responses and projected false bravado ‘this stuff doesn’t scare me!” So normal conversation soon resumed and a little while later we went and sat in the living room I sat on the sofa then my sister in laws son went to sit down as he did so I grabbed his shirt and yelled watch out for Edna sitting there. Well I have never seen someone go white so fast in my life I am sorry I could not help it after that when we went to leave I hugged him then hugged an imaginary Edna next to him. Ironically my intent was to show him not to take it all so seriously that the media had to make stuff engaging or no one would watch the spooky shows.

He had such misconceptions about so many things simply from watching spooky television I just wanted to normalize it a bit. I am sorry Edna but I needed an ally. The funny thing was the coffee pot in the kitchen tipped slightly up all by itself so someone was making their presence known.

I do however always honor spirit people deserve respect whether they are living or passed. But please understand not in a million years will you get me going down into dark scary basements or graveyards at midnight!!!!
