The documentary "The 750 Pound Man" once again graced the airwaves on TLC this past Thanksgiving weekend. The person they call the 750 Pound Man is named John Keitz, who is morbidly obese. I wrote a very half assed review on this documentary last year, entitled "The 750 Pound Man is Dead".But who was John Keitz? He was more than a 750 pound man, he was one of God's special creatures. John Keitz was an obese man that lived in Baltimore, MD. One day back in 1998 he was m... Read Full Story

I grew up in the 80s and remember watching "The Karate Kid" countless times. The Cobra Kai, the renegade group of karate teenagers included leader Johnny Lawrence, Bobby, Tommy and the psychopath Dutch. Here were a group of teenagers that expended a lot of energy on beating up Daniel Larusso, and making his life a nightmare. They actually almost kill him in one scene by throwing him down a hill while he was riding his bike home. I recently watched "The Karate Kid" again on... Read Full Story

Every four years we Americans go to the polls to elect or re-elect our next president. This great country of ours has had some wonderful presidents like Lincoln and Reagan, and some bad presidents like Carter and Clinton. There is a famous quote that states "art imitates life". With that said, there have also been great fictional presidents, and some "not so great" fictional presidents in movies. With election day 2008 drawing close, I have compiled a list of the worst fic... Read Full Story

Happy Halloween everyone! This is a fun time of year because I like to dress up like a clown from "Killer Klowns from Outer Space", sit back with a nice bottle of wine and watch scary movies (I'm kidding about the clown outfit, but I do enjoy watching scary movies in late October). There have been some great movies on television recently. Check out On-Demand and AMC tonight. Below are my top five scary movies for Halloween.5. Midnight Meat Train (2008) - No, this is not a gay po... Read Full Story

The movies "Jaws" and "Tremors" are similar by nature. They both involve a creature, unseen for the most part, terrorizing a small town. The fates of two of the characters in each film are nearly identical. In "Jaws", shark hunter Quint is eaten alive by a great white shark. In "Tremors", shop keeper Walter Chang is devoured by a huge graboid. The creatures come from below the surface in a surprise attack. In "Jaws", the shark come from the ... Read Full Story

I was doing some research on UFOs for work the other night and came across factualTV.com. I was actually reviewing UFOs out of boredom, not for work, but research was still being done. factualTV is an online service that is focused on fact based television programs like documentaries. As a working professional and rookie blogger I use the internet for all of my research, mainly Google and YouTube, but I have now added factualTV to my arsenal. The look and feel of the site is nice and pleasant,...
