The Funny Thing About Places and Perspectives

I was leaving work one day and a funny thing came to mind. It's weird how certain places can make you feel  a certain way in one situation and yet totally different in another.

As I drove in my car, a clip from a random horror flick came to mind. What movie the clip comes from is not important, it was the felling it brought. Let's say someone was in their car and some kind of creature was outside trying to get in. The car seems flimsy and vulnerable. You figure the creature could easily break through the windows or pry the doors open to get the victim. The car seems so useless, and claustrophobic. There's no place to run.

Now in another situation, take a person running down a dirt road being chased by a killer at the wheel of  the speeding car. To the victim, the car doesn't seem so flimsy and vulnerable. It might as well be a tank. The windows don't seem so easy to smash or the doors so easy to pry open now.

Just a random thought.
