My view of fastpitch softball comes from my years of experience with my daughters ages 12 and 15 who have played softball since the age of six. Then they played t-ball, and boy was it fun. Now they both play select softball and the quality of play is a little better. Select ball is played at a higher level of competition than you will find in recreational sports, like Little League, for instance. Both my daughters have played Little League as well and some of my best memories of their games come from there. I hope you enjoy this lens as much as I know I'll enjoy writing it. I hope you'll learn something too. Now the one thing I plan on making sure you know is what to pack to survive what can be a very long day. We've spent up to 12 hours at the field. You really gotta love it to spend that much time there.
