Today’s spot the shoe is  Haider Askermann’s bootie.  This is a slick looking bootie with a zipper and mock lace-up closure that snakes around the boot.  It has a 4.7 inch heel and a 1 inch hidden platform. Available at the  The Corner for $712 Available at  Barneys for $750.  Incidentally, Barneys online has several designer shoes on sale. I am not a person of extremes.  I would never wear Louboutin’s Dafreak, even if they were given to me.
