Today I have been working on an idea to send to Richard Branson on behalf of The London International Cartoon Festival. It is hoped that he will support us as he produces a range of comics in Asia under the banner of Virgin Comics. GOSH I HAVE been busy!
As Founder/Owner of the London International Cartoon Festival I only have myself to blame.
Since Penelope Else took over the project management of this ailing concern (started in 2006) back in January, things have picked up speed.

Sometimes a client is nervous about commissioning an exaggerated caricature of a colleague. In such cases I am often issued with a list of demands, not to make the ears too big and not to make him ‘too fat’ amongst many others.
This is anathema to the purist caricaturist and many refuse to work under such demands.

AS SOME OF you may have heard, I am busy organising the FIRST EVER London International Cartoon Festival (LICfest) for 2010.
