Hey there!  Look at me, I'm live on TV.  I decided to try out my brand new Spring HTC Evo with Qik live video functionality tonight.  And man, do I have some ideas for this puppy. I can shoot live video...like a live show from my cell phone.  This allows me to shot live interviews, or just something going on and send it out live from anywhere. We were hooked up via WiFi here at home and I'm very curious how the phone does over the cell lines.  Stay tune for more... Read Full Story
Father’s Day Gift Idea 2010
| From : supermegadad.com
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Victorinox Swiss Army . All opinions are 100% mine. Welcome to Super Mega Dad’s second annual Father’s Day Gift Ideas! This year we found a manly man gift idea for the studliest dad’s out there.  What could be more manly than a knife?  Maybe a Swiss Army Knife! I’ve been playing around with the new Dual Pro X knife for the past few weeks and the first thing that came to my mind when I opened this puppy was how solidly it was built... Read Full Story

Image via Wikipedia Mother’s Day. Those two words are enough to strike fear into any man that has either A) a mother, or B) a wife that has children somehow related to him.  Every year, the weeks and days before Mother’s Day (usually the day before in my instance) is a time of great fear and stress that you will either get the completely wrong thing (golf clubs) or not enough of the good stuff (fresh picked flowers from the grass will not work, FYI). You franticly search through the... Read Full Story

From clean to mess in less than 10 minutes.  Or, why does it only take 10 minutes to make the mess and 3 hours to clean it up?  Oh, the messes we make!   You think your kid has messy hair?  This is Princess K’s hair 15 minutes after it’s combed and put up in a pony tail.  Amazing! Read Full Story

After three fun filled days at our local children’s hospital, we were finally on our way home!  We were all packed up, and with the nurses help, we found a wheelchair to place our large group of bags to carry downstairs to our car.  Walking out the door, we stopped by to have a visit with Mr. Ronald McDonald parked right in front of the Ronald McDonald House next door to the hospital for a quick photo op.  This visit was probably the highlight of our visit to the hospital, but we didn’t stay... This is part two of a three part series of articles discussing my three year old daughter’s (now four years old!)  diagnoses of Type 1 Diabetes and our ensuing adventures.  Last week we talked about being told that she had diabetes by our pediatrician. After being freshly diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in late December 2009, we were directed by our pediatrician to head off to Rady’s Children’s Hospital in San Diego .  Princess K’s blood sugar was hovering between 300 – 400, which to... Every so often in a person’s life, life changing events happen that completely and utterly turn your world upside down.  Maybe it’s a death in the family, a major natural disaster, or simply having children.  One of the most feared occurrences in life are diseases that one has no control over.  Occurrences like this are devastating on their own if they happen to you, but doubly so when and if it happens to your children.  Your children are your BABIES, and, generally speaking, they are born... Image by Manny Hernandez via Flickr Ummm, Hi There!  It’s been awhile, hasn’t it?  Looking at the old blog clock, it looks like it’s been since last October.  Yeah, about that, my bad!  I’ve dusted this old blog off, updated the software to the newest version to try to get rid of these one hundred plus spam comments I get everyday and I’ve applied a brand new coat of paint.  So, if you’ve been with us before, you’ll notice a whole other look to things around here. So, what happened... Read Full Story
