Eleven Things I’m Sad About Today
1. The series finale tonight of Boston Legal: What the hell? This cannot be the end of Alan Shore. 2. TV endings in general; Two that I’m really upset about: The Shield–yes, it ended a few weeks back, but I’m still not over the loss. King of the Hill–how can they take Bobby, Hank, and Peggy Hill off the air? 3. Sick babies-T and L are both sick (I’m eternally grateful for my mother taking care of them and taking them to the       doc for me) 4. My van-it’... Read Full Story
A Vent about Day Care
I have to admit that there are some very positive aspects about taking the kids to day care, but there are also many, many things I hate. Yesterday was a VERY bad day care day. Let me give you a bit of history. A few weeks back, T’s jacket, a fleece one, was taken from the daycare-I assume given to the wrong child, and the parents have not brought it back. I was angry, but not too bad because it was not very expensive. On that day, the director told me to make sure I label all the kids&... Read Full Story
A Side-Effect of Being Fat that I had not Expected
As I get fatter and fatter everyday, on top of the lovely muffin top I now deal with spilling over my pants top daily, I’ve discovered another lovely change on my body…my belly button is growing. I’m serious. It looks rounder and deeper than ever. And instead of a cute little hole in the center of my flat stomach, it’s a gargantuan abyss in the center of a doughy, jiggly sea of lard. Sweet Dreams.    Tagged: belly button, fat, gross, muffin top &nbs... Read Full Story
A Shower Gel Review
I haven’t blogged in forever! I’m sorry! I’ve been very busy. I have been blogging in my head though, so if I can remember all the things I’ve wanted to write about, I should have some new stuff posted soon! Something has been bothering me for a few weeks: My shower gel. You see, in a quest to save money (yes, I do try), I bought a very inexpensive shower gel, Suave Naturals Body Wash in Sweet Pea and Violet scent. I can’t remember exactly how much I paid, but I ... Down in the Dumps
I’m feeling sorry for myself. I know I should focus on the wonderful blessings I have in my life-and I am grateful for so many things-people, mostly.  Still–it’s hard. I’m depressed–and I’m okay with that-it will get better. But–onto other news. I did my duty as a proud, informed American woman–I voted today! Early voting-a week before the election-and I still had to wait in line almost 20 minutes! And that’s in my small little hicktown su... Read Full Story

If he had a Daddy, he’d be Proud!
Today, when I went to pick the babies up from daycare, T happened to pull his shirt up. I was shocked to see a little pink thing that I normally don’t see near his belly button. Yes, his “little happy” was peeking out, stuck in his elastic band, for all the world to see. Thank goodness he didn’t pee! Anyway, I quickly relieved the “little fella” from, what I can imagine was an elastic hell, and pushed it back down into his diaper. I told him that his penis ... Read Full Story
Blah…
I know, I know, I know….why haven’t I been blogging? I don’t know! It’s just that I haven’t felt like I had the energy to do so. Still don’t. But if I don’t make myself, what if I don’t start again? That would be a travesty! Not for me, for you, dear readers! What on earth would you do to amuse yourself when you should be doing something productive? So, I promise I will blog some quality stuff soon. Megan and I went to see So You Think You Can D... Read Full Story
Strep Throat=Lots of Baby Time for me!
Yes, poor T has strep. My mom, did I mention she’s awesome?, took him to the doctor for me today. He’ll be with Nana and Grandpa again tomorrow since he is still contagious. Hopefully, he’ll be well enough to go to school Wednesday. I miss him! Two nights with my sister and two nights with my mother…geesh! And he loves it! He is having so much fun! He’s the star of the show and doesn’t have to share any attention or toys with any other babies. There is a po... Read Full Story
