Autsim & Teacher Help Desk Survey....

Hello all-

I'd like to let you know about my new ebook, "Classroom Strategies that Increase the Success of Students with Autism."

Working with students & people with autism has always been a passion of mine. Last year after some serious advocating, begging & parent support, I was given the OK by admin to hold social-cognitive groups for my students with autism. Although I advocated for this to happen, it also cut into my prep time and increased the amount of prep I needed to do. The strategies in this book are low prep, easy to start & effective! Even if you don't have specific time for soc-cog groups, these strategies can be intergrated into the day. Please give it a look if you work with any students with autism.

It is for sale for $2.50 on E-bay at http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=eco-friendly_wedding_planning (I found out that at 99 cents depending on how many e-books I sold...sometimes...with e-bay & paypal fees....I was losing 10-20 cents for each book sold. Now, math has not been my strongest subject, but.......ouch! So I upped it to 2.50 and we'll see how it goes.)

Thirdly, I am starting a new website (http://www.teacherhelpdesk.com) and I'd like your help. I have a short 1 page survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=hTm2QRU16LSG8YB_2bHbkiqQ_3d_3d I would appreciate your input. As a thank you for your time the survey includes a website where you can view the table of contents & purchase the new e-book on autism for just 99 cents.

.....Here is part of the introduction to the book:
Children diagnosed with autism have been on the rise. Although each student is unique and special, students with autism have distinctive challenges to others students when it comes to the classroom. Students with autism perceive their environments differently than others. It is important for schools to accommodate to meet the needs of students with autism to give them access to general education curriculum, while also addressing their unique social cognitive needs. This guide will give instructions and examples to four research-based classroom strategies. General education and special education teachers can use these time effective and easy to use strategies to increase the success of students with autism in their classroom.

Thank you for your time!
:) Summer's is around the corner!
