Natalie Gulbis has committed to play in the 2011 Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.
In what appears to be Natalie’s self proclaimed “worst year” in the ten years she has been a pro, Natalie Gulbis will try to improve her game and play well at this event. At the tail end of 2011 it would be excellent for Natalie to turn things around and gain some momentum going into 2012.
Natalie played well in this event last year finishing in a tie for 12th place. Having won only once in an LPGA Tour event... Read Full Story

Here at your home for sports memorabilia we have been thinking. Did the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team really fall short in the Women’s World Cup or did they fare as well as expected?
One could say they didn’t win it. Another could say they came close. Yet another could say they had it and gave it away. But realistically, wasn’t it a huge accompishment to make it to the final game? To make it through any tournament at any level in any sport is a difficult process. Off days, bad calls, lesser... On Thursday, April 21st, I was invited by the San Diego Padres to throw out the 1st pitch, as well as promote TaylorMade-Adidas’ new sponsorship at Petco Field. Attached is a shot from the ballpark, where a TaylorMade driver spans the entire right field foul pole and is completely in play. I have also included a picture of me hitting “homeruns”, golf style. Needless to say, I enjoyed myself after taking batting practice, hitting golf balls out of the park from home plate, and tossing out the... Read Full Story

Last Friday, Las Vegas Golf and Tennis asked me to be part of their “WHITE OUT” grand opening event.
It is a 15,000 square foot golf store located in the heart of Las Vegas, just off The Strip. It also offers Las Vegas’ only TaylorMade fitting center and has the largest selection of TaylorMade, Adidas and Ashworth golf products in Southern Nevada. If you’re in Vegas, it’s a must see!
The address is 4711 Dean Martin Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Here is a photo from the event….

1. Tell me something most people don’t know about you? I love to cook. 2. What would you like to do for a living if you are not a pro golfer? I would be a prosecuting lawyer. 3. If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be? Bill Gates 4. Is there anything you are addicted to? Or can’t live without? My iPhone 5. Is there anything you won’t eat? Snake 6. What is one thing you have done and would never want to do again? Earning my LPGA Tour card 7. Is there a song that you... Read Full Story

Last week’s LPGA event, the inaugural RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup, was the first event where 100% of the prize money went to charity. I played for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. The week was packed with fun events, including Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XVII, a fundraiser benefiting Parkinson’s disease. The charity event, held on Saturday evening, raised millions and I felt fortunate to be invited to be a part of Ali’s fight for a cure for Parkinson’s. I joined Amanda... Read Full Story
