"It’s been several months since Congress authorized the building of the border fence along portions of the U.S. Southern Border. But, according to recent news reports, little to no progress has been made on the fence.

In addition, a collective group of cities, counties and economic development councils joined together under the title of the Border Trade Alliance and filed a class action lawsuit seeking an injunction to stop construction on the border fence. The lawsuit claims that the Department of Homeland Security violated numerous laws and constitutional provisions to acquire land and build the fence.
