I was just looking back at our yearbook for the Class of 1988 and noticed that we had pictures of various cars for the senior class and one of the famous auto accessories that I noticed was the name of the car printed on the windshield. Now we didn’t own the nicest cars so having Daytona or Maverick in big white letters across the top of the windshield was apparently some kind of status symbol that made us look cool.
