I am terribly sorry for disappointing those of you who have returned hoping to see a new posting. I have been dealing with a new job which has been a bit of a shock to my system after having been off work for the past four years - 5am takes a bit of getting used to!! I am not exactly sure why but all my photos have disappeared from my ‘Library’. It says I have 9 images but there is nothing showing. The same thing happened with sound - I wanted to set up Marty Robbins’ “Saddle Tramp” to play on the opening page but it doesn’t show up in the media library files.   Any ideas? Read Full Story

Well, how goes the battle today? I think I won ’cause I can post again! Well time is dragging on as I wait for the new shipment of Louis L’Amour: A Collector’s Bibliography from LuLu. Of the 10 I ordered, 3 go to the contest winners, 1 to my father, 1 to my son-in-law and 1 for me of course! I have to send 2 to the government archives in Ottawa which leaves me with 2 spares. Well gang I did it! I fixed the issue with LULU having the wrong content file for Louis L’Amour: A Collector’s Bibliography. Yes, dummy me had a brain fart and deleted the wrong file. Thankfully it was still in the recycle bin so I was able to delete the incorrect file and upload the proper one. I can’t believe I did something so dumb!! Well I received my first shipment of Louis L’Amour: A Collectors Bibliography today. Somehow or other the file that LULU has is NOT the one I have so now I have to put the book on temporary hold and fix these issues before releasing it back to the public. The funny thing is - I can’t find the file I had printed here at home! There were some significant changes to the format and some additions to the text which are not in the printed copy from LULU. I have been watching the controversy around Amazon’s new ruling pretty carefully as I am sure any writer is doing so I am going to weigh in here and get my 2 Bitz Worth in. :)    I believe I have a pretty good idea why so many POD authors are getting choked up about this.
