Kudos to Krugman for being brave enough to state the truth.   There is no way that somebody as smart as Obama could not envision the surefire path to decimate the tea-party and dunk the tea bags in hot water. In a rally, President Obama said that this election is a "choice between the policies that are getting us into this mess versus policies that are getting us out of this mess".
