I've switched to sprouted wheat bread. It's full of micro nutrients and it does not have any additives. Plus, two slices of bread is packed with 10 grams of fiber! I made a turkey sandwich with some left over turkey, lettuce tomato and mayonaise. It was pretty good. I had it with coleslaw made with 1 tbs coleslaw dressing. Read Full Story

I made some chocolate chip confetti cupcakes for the kiddies. These were pretty easy to make but they're not the greatest calorie wise of course. All I did was make a confetti cupcake mix and top them with chocolate chips. They're bland enough for wee little ones but they're still fun and pretty looking. Read Full Story

I picked up a new microwavable meal for work. This one is the best frozen meal I have ever had. Stouffer's Bistro Rotini. The meal consists of pasta, sun dried tomatoes, mozzerella and parmesean. You can really taste the olive oil in the pasta. It does not look as pretty as the box but it really is delicious. But, it is really high in calories and fat. 500 calories, 20g fat 5g fiber. It's well worth it. Read Full Story

For our first movie review, I'm going to start with Funny People since it's the last movie I seen in the theatre. Warning, the post does contain spoilers. Poster via IMDB.com I was really looking forward to Funny People because it is written by Judd Apatow, who wrote The 40 Year Old Virgin. The 40 Year Old virgin is one of my all time favorite movies. Because of Apatow's clever writing I had high expectations for Funny People. Funny People shows the dark side if a comedians life. Many great... Read Full Story

In the Spring I am going back to Asia for a two week vacation. I'll be going back to HK then on to Japan, Russia and China. I have a really ignorant question but I'm curious. I have two formal dinners while I'm there and I will be with mainly Chinese and Japanese. Would a black knee length dress with spaghetti straps be appropriate or are spaghetti straps frowned upon? I took my Nana out for dinner at Bozzini's. It was great! We were met by a friendly hostess who made sure to seat us where Nana wanted to. The menu is very large. They have a great selection of american, seafood and some mediteranian foods. Nana settled on the Bistro Burger with fries and I got the chicken strips with caesar salad. The portions are humungous! My chicken strips came with a salad large enough for two people and garlic toast too! The burger was pretty tasty and the fries were... Read Full Story

I looked through our new vending machines at work and seen that they had a new calorie free option besides Diet Coke! They have Aquafina carbonated beverages now. I chose the Berry Burst. Seeing how there are raspberries on the front, I thought it would taste like that. It didn't. It tasted like "blue". You know the blue colored freezies? It tasted exactly like that. Not impressed and felt weirded out drinking it. Read Full Story
