Ratatouille is one of my favorite movies. The characters are endearing, the story is inspiring, and the animation is perfect.

The Three Little Pigs was one of Disney's most popular Silly Symphony cartoons. It made such a splash after it was released in 1933 that it ran in the theaters for months, and it won the 1933 Academy Award for best animated film. I don't watch TV anymore, and I don't go to the theater often. But I do love watching certain movies over and over again, especially animated films. I also enjoy silly, slightly demented movies such as Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
There are also a few "serious" movies I gravitate towards. I suppose you could put the Lord of the Rings series in that category. But for the most part, I revel in animated classics and movies with a healthy dose of humor and/or fantasy. Read Full Story

I love enchiladas, particularly beef enchiladas. My mom would make them every so often as a treat. Hers were the best, easily restaurant quality.
Then I got married and moved to another state. That meant if I wanted to enjoy those same enchiladas every so often, I needed to learn how to cook them myself!
Fortunately, enchiladas are simple to make. They're a little time consuming compared to some dishes, and they leave a bigger mess to clean up, but otherwise they're easy. Read Full Story
