I am just back from BlogHer 2008 conference (San Francisco) and if you are following me on Twitter, then your have been already updated, but for those who are not, I have lots of news to share.
First, let me say that I was absolutely amazed how things were organized. For the past 2 years (or so), I have constantly been traveling and attending different seminars and conferences and I can say this one was the best organized ever. Can you believe they had child care facilities and a free lunch... Read Full Story

I have recently realized that I am spending more and more time online though in most cases I am not that productive. It’s the same routine that bloggers do every day, nothing more nothing less. I was blaming the social networking which can “eat” a lot of time but finally I decided to sit down and list everything that I was doing during the day; from paying my bills, to entrecard dropping. Surprisingly I realized that I was spending too much time for tasks that simply need to be better... Read Full Story

I have just checked our traffic statistics on Entrecard and I was surprised that the biggest number of clicks we are actually getting from blogs that are not specifically targeting bloggers with “money” in mind.
Here are our champions that provided a great number of clicks for the last 30 days
#1 - On the bricks - 383 clicks
#2 - Reap money online
This month best dropper - Bloging guide

Entrecard has announced today its partnership with Sezwho and I have just finished with signing up and adding it to my entrecard’s options. From now on, every blogger is able to earn credits for quality comments and I like the idea that the guys were able to make it hard for “cheaters”. Here is what Graham says about getting “paid” for commenting:
“However, we wouldn’t want people running around and writing “nice post” on every blog they see, trying to game the system and earn credits. So... Read Full Story

Sometimes instant gratification isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. At least that’s what many Apple iPhone users learned when they lined up in the wee hours of the morning on this last weekend to get the hugely anticipated Apple iPhone 3G. This makes me so glad I decided to wait to upgrade my iPhone:). At this rate though, who knows when it will come as stores are looking at a 10 to 21 day waiting period for new phones to come in. Apparently many Apple store employees at stores anticipated the... Read Full Story

One of the DP friends shared today his “novel” way he’s marketing his website. Take a look at the picture that I took today while implementing this innovative and revolutionary way::)). All you need to do is to have fun and write your site’s or blog’s URL in the sand when you go walking on the beach! I agree: It is amazing how many people stop to read the messages and ask what is your site/blog about. I was taking pictures with my iPhone, so don’t be too judgemental:). Here are a couple more... The big news is that this teen-oriented virtual world and community site has recently raised $11 million... Read Full Story

Looks like Yahoo is still trying to get away from Microsoft and Icahn and rejected their new offer. This time Microsoft proposed to pay $1billion upfront for Yahoo’s search assets, which is funny as Yahoo is a huge company with multiple valuable assets, where search engine is just a small part of it. This time Yahoo was offered a 48 hours to respond, but Microsoft and Icahn have been rejected almost immediately::)). As a part of the proposal, Microsoft wanted to enter into an exclusive... Google has launched today a new service called “Lively”! Here is the official info about Lively:
“Lively is a browser base virtual world add-on that lets users create and customize avatars and worlds, as well as interact with other users”
If you are a “google” person and already use gmail, calendar and other google’s services, then I have good news for you. And I believe this is not a good news for companies like “SecondLife” and “RocketOn”… Looks like Google was trying to do all job for... Read Full Story
