Mary sent me a couple of lists of names a little while back, and I finally had a chance to use them for a word search puzzle.

Oh, you were wondering about the fish?
Glad you asked.
I was in a pet store looking at a fish I was thinking about buying, when this kid of about twelve came up and started tapping on the glass, then he started making strange faces at the fish.
Then it got weird.
He actually pressed his face against the glass and started licking it like he was a... Read Full Story

The Passiria Valley, shown in today’s jigsaw puzzle, is located in Northern Italy. One of the communities there (called a ‘comune’) is called “Moos.” At first I thought it was because they had cows there, but in this case “Moos” means “bog” or “wetlands.” I think I like the idea of the cows better. The crazy weather we are having this winter makes for some nice outside lunches. Not too cool, not too hot. Today’s jigsaw puzzle has a few more pieces than normal, so it’s a tad bit harder. At least it’s Saturday so you have a little more time to work the puzzle. Enjoy! Read Full Story

We have a special lunch planned for today. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!
OK, that may not sound special to you, but I haven’t had either peanut butter or jelly in close to six months.

This morning I will be sitting in a waiting room. That’s the problem with some appointments, having to wait two hours for a four minute doctor’s appointment.
Sigh.
Good thing I have a tablet to take with me. I just got three new books on it, and a couple of new games. I could even come up with another word list or two!
Now, if I can only remember to plug the thing in and charge it. Read Full Story

Margaret and Allen asked for an abstract jigsaw puzzle, something a little difficult. Request granted! I found this abstract swirl that looks almost like different colored smoke rings. Oh, I had a couple of people tell me they thought the machine from yesterday’s puzzle was for removing corn from the cob. Sounds right to me. [...] Read Full Story

I just finished watching “Revenge” on TV.
Awesome show.
Of course, I’m not very revenge minded. I prefer to just let them go crazy wondering when I’m going to strike back.
The anticipation and worry is worse for them than the revenge itself.

Ghost In The Old Machine This machine in today’s jigsaw puzzle is old enough to have a ghost living inside it, although it would have to be a small ghost. I have no idea what this machine was supposed to do, so if you know, please let me know. Thanks! If you like this site [...] Read Full Story
