5% of revenues will be donated to UNICEF

Each year, there are people who don’t realize what the meaning of Thanksgiving is even if it’s written right into the word itself. First thing that comes to mind when you mention Thanksgiving will be turkey, next is ham, and then Christmas. Well, I am here to remind everyone that this coming holiday is all about giving to the needy and expressing thanks for the possessions that you have. In order to keep the spirit of the holiday alive, I am donating 5% of my revenue from www.transcendstore.com to UNICEF to alleviate world hunger. My goal is to be able to donate at least $1,000 by the end of the month from the revenue that is gained from my retail website. Now, $1,000 dollars may not seem a lot but in Zimbabwe, 10,000,000,000 old Zimbabwe dollars is equivalent to 1 new Zimbabwe dollar which means 1 US dollar = 562.590 new Zimbabwe dollars (as of 10/31/08.) At that time, 10 billion Zimbabwe dollars will net you 3 eggs. If you put that into persepective, $1,000 US dollars is a very generous donation for those people who are struggling to find food. So please help the cause by either visiting UNICEF and make a donation or go to my website and make a purchase. Do the right thing and help end world hunger.
