I now have premium status over at Smashwords .  This means that I formatted my book properly the first time and my book is now available for Nook and Sony Readers, and more.  That was the last thing I had been waiting for.  It can now be purchased at Smashwords for all of the ereaders or reading online, plus, it can be purchased for the kindle reader.  All for 2.99.  Then there is the paperback version, which can be purchased directly from my printer, CreateSpace , or it can be purchased at... Works In Progress is now up on smashwords and is available for download!  I’m waiting until I get approved for the premium catalog before I post links.  I also spend some time learning how to format ebooks for Kindle and was able to successfully upload Works In Progress for Kindle.  I’m awaiting approval.  The site says approval takes between twenty-four and forty-eight hours.  I’m still waiting for my proof copy for the print version to arrive.  When I have it up on Amazon in both print and... I’ve decided to self-publish my young adult novel using CreateSpace.  It took me two days to get the formatting for the book correct in MSWord.  I decided to use a new cover, even though I created a cover for it a long time ago.  I like this new one better.  I’m just waiting to hear from CreateSpace within the next 48 hours, and if they approved the cover and interior files, I’ll be ordering a proof copy soon.  I guess this means I’m going to have to do a lot of research on promoting my book... So far, we have done the big picture editing, where we add, subtract or move bits and pieces around.  We have worked on writing style issues, such as variety, dialogue and imagery.  That leaves us with the final inspection.
